Why we built Ghloria

Ghloria is travel agency workflow software for client management, trip proposals, supplier data, and the operations behind each trip.

On this page

Travel agencies are often described as businesses that sell trips. That leaves out most of the work.

Behind one itinerary, an agency might be comparing rates, checking contract terms, asking suppliers for options, preparing a proposal, tracking payments, and answering a client who wants to change the dates. The client sees a trip. The agency sees dozens of moving parts.

The trip can look effortless. The work behind it rarely is.

Travel agency workflow software should keep the client, trip, suppliers, proposal, and next action connected. Ghloria exists to give agencies that shared operational record without asking advisors to give up their judgement.

The work behind the experience

Agency teams still run important parts of the business across email, spreadsheets, supplier portals, messaging apps, documents, and specialised tools. Each one holds a piece of the record. None holds the whole job.

A supplier confirmation arrives as a PDF. A rate changes in a spreadsheet. A client request sits in an inbox. Someone copies the details into a proposal. When the supplier sends an update, the team has to remember which files and messages need changing too.

That is where the hours go. Not in one dramatic failure, but in small checks, searches, re-entries, and handoffs that repeat every day.

The problem is not that travel advisors lack expertise. It is that their information is scattered.

Why we built Ghloria

We built Ghloria to give agencies one place to run this work.

It connects the client, the trip, the suppliers, the options under consideration, the proposal that was sent, and the next action. Client management, trip planning, supplier coordination, proposal creation, booking follow-up, payments, and post-trip work belong to the same operational record.

That changes a basic question. Instead of asking, “Where did we save that?” an advisor can ask, “What needs to happen next?”

The difference is small in a sentence. It is large in a busy agency.

AI should remove the copying

AI matters here because agencies handle a lot of unstructured information. Supplier PDFs, email threads, rate sheets, and client requests all need to become usable trip data.

But reading a document is only the first step. What happens after that? Can someone review the extracted dates, rooms, prices, and terms? Does the information stay connected to the right client and trip? Can another person pick up the work without starting again?

Ghloria is built around those questions. Its intelligence helps turn incoming information into records the agency can review and use. It cuts repetitive work while keeping decisions with the people who know the client.

That distinction matters. An advisor should be able to change an option, question a price, or reject a suggestion. The software should make that work faster, not hide it behind an answer nobody can check.

Built around agency work

We kept seeing the same pattern inside travel agencies. Good teams had built their own ways to cope. A spreadsheet handled rates. Email held supplier conversations. A document became the proposal. Someone on the team remembered what happened next.

It worked, until the agency grew, a colleague was away, or a client changed the plan three days before departure.

Adding another tool does not fix the handoff between the existing ones. The information still has to be moved by hand.

Ghloria starts with the handoff. It keeps the context of a trip in one place, so the work can continue after a proposal is sent and after a client approves it. The agency can see what was offered, what was confirmed, what was paid, and what still needs attention.

That is the company we are building: the operating system for modern travel agencies.

From complexity to clarity

Travel will always involve exceptions. Suppliers will change terms. Clients will change their minds. An advisor will make a judgement call that no software could have predicted.

Good systems leave room for that. They keep the facts together, make changes visible, and reduce the work that nobody chose to do in the first place.

Ghloria exists to give travel agencies that base. A clearer way to manage the work behind the trip, so advisors can spend more time on the part clients actually value: getting the details right.

The platform where travel experiences are designed, shared, and lived starts with a better record of what is happening behind the scenes.
