Company and Workspace

Workspace settings in Ghloria connect user profile data, company identity, team access, and brand configuration. This keeps agency operations structured around the active company context.

Active Company Context

Ghloria supports an active company context. Switching or clearing the active company stores the selected company ID in a secure company context cookie and refreshes company-scoped data.

This context is used across company-aware areas such as clients, suppliers, proposals, settings, and role-sensitive actions.

Profile Settings

The Profile tab lets each user maintain their own account details.

Users can update:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Profile photo

Profile photos can be uploaded or removed. The interface validates direct image uploads before sending the file and refreshes cached profile data after changes. If a user has unsaved profile edits and tries to move to another settings tab, Ghloria asks whether to save or discard those changes.

Workspace Settings

Users with workspace permissions can access the Workspace tab.

The company settings area supports:

  • Company name
  • Legal name
  • Default currency
  • Default language
  • NIPC or tax identifier
  • RNAVT
  • IATA code
  • Notes
  • Company logo
  • Brand colour
  • Brand font
  • Brand font colour

Company data and brand data are saved through separate company and brand endpoints, but the interface presents them as one workspace configuration flow. The Save All action persists company details, brand settings, and changed contact rows.

Company Contact Data

The workspace can maintain structured company contact records.

Supported collections include:

  • Addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Websites

Each collection supports adding rows, editing existing rows, marking a primary record, and deleting records. Address rows include country lookup support. Phone rows include WhatsApp and primary indicators.

Team Management

The Workspace tab includes team management for company members and invitations.

Workspace owners can:

  • View active and invited users.
  • Invite a member by email.
  • Copy a member email address.
  • Change roles between Workspace Owner, Manager, and Consultant when permitted.
  • Remove a member or invitation from the company.

Role changes are sent through the profile update route with active company forwarding. Member removal depends on backend support; when the backend does not implement removal, the API returns a clear not-implemented response.

Template Images

The settings area includes a Template Images tab for proposal templates. Users can manage images available for proposal templates, including uploading images, editing display names, and deleting images when supported by the active template configuration.

Security

The Security tab supports password updates. Users enter their current password, the new password, and confirmation. The interface validates matching passwords and reports authentication or update errors through the settings feedback system.

Account Deletion

The settings flow includes account deletion behind a confirmation dialog. Deleting an account is destructive. The account deletion route clears ownership references from proposals and clients before deleting the user record, then the client signs the user out after a successful response.

Access Notes

Profile settings are user-level. Workspace configuration and team management are workspace-permission areas. Destructive account and membership actions require explicit confirmation before they are submitted.
