Points Of Interest

Keep the sights, museums and landmarks your agency recommends in one library, linked to their destinations and ready to drop into any itinerary.

Points of interest are the places your agency recommends inside a destination: sights, museums, landmarks, parks, places of worship, restaurants and shops. They live in your library next to destinations, so the team writes a description once and reuses it in every proposal.

Browsing Points Of Interest

Open Destinations and switch to the Points of interest tab. Search by name, or filter by destination to see the places that belong to it. A destination's page also lists its points of interest.

Each point of interest has:

  • A name, address, website, description and internal notes.
  • A Location card linked to its place, with View on Google Maps and Copy address.
  • The destination it belongs to.

Adding Points Of Interest

  • Click New point of interest and choose its destination or exact site.
  • Save one while reviewing a past proposal import. Ghloria searches your library, the Ghloria catalog and Google, and warns you when a similar place already exists.

Adding A Point Of Interest To An Itinerary

From a proposal's itinerary, choose a point of interest and click Add to day. Pick an existing day or a New day, and the time of day: Morning or Afternoon. Then click Add to itinerary.

A copy, not a link

The name and description are copied into the itinerary. You can edit or remove the text on that day. Later changes in the library do not update the proposal.
