Proposals and Trips

How proposals, clients, and trips work together in Ghloria.

Proposals and Trips

Ghloria separates the commercial proposal from the trip record. The proposal is where the agency builds and prices the offer. The trip is the operational container that can hold one or more proposals for the same client.

Use this structure to keep early quoting flexible without losing the client, destination, pricing, and document history that will be needed once the trip moves forward.

Create or open a proposal

Create a proposal from Proposals, from a client, or from a trip. When a proposal is duplicated, Ghloria copies the proposal content while clearing the client and trip linkage so the new proposal can be assigned deliberately.

In Client & Trip, choose an existing client or enter a new client. Existing clients populate the client fields from the client profile and keep the proposal connected to the CRM record.

Search by client details and select the right profile. The linked client fields become read-only in the proposal so the proposal stays aligned with the client record.

Enter the client's name, email, and phone. Ghloria validates email and phone formatting before the proposal is saved or moved forward.

Define the trip scope

Add the destination or destinations, travel dates, adult count, and child count. Draft proposals can be incomplete while the team is still collecting details, but the final proposal should have enough structure for pricing, itinerary, and client presentation.

Attach the proposal to a trip

From the proposal detail page, assign the proposal to an existing trip for the same client or create a new trip from the proposal. If the selected trip belongs to another agent, Ghloria asks for confirmation before switching the proposal.

Manage the trip record

A trip can contain multiple linked proposals. The trip detail page shows client information, destination, dates, linked proposals, proposal statuses, total value, files, and ERP link. Operators can connect eligible proposals, create a new proposal for the trip, upload trip files, rename the trip, or delete it when appropriate.

Operational rule

Use the trip record as the source of operational continuity. Use proposal versions to manage commercial alternatives, revisions, and client-facing delivery.
